This April, the brand new Wanchai landmark, Hopewell Centre, presents 'April You're the Most 'Pet'', two major events for all pet owners and their furry friends. A wide range of activities including health consultations, games and leisure experiences will be offered to cater to the needs of cat and rabbit lovers in the city. On April 12 and 13, the 'Meow Cat Carnival' will be held for cat lovers and their furry friends, featuring talks by registered veterinarians and nutrition experts, a cat breed parade, a cat obstacle course, cat tarot readings, and a CFA champion cat show. On April 18 and 19, the 'Rabbitry Easter Family Bun' will be organized for rabbit owners and their bunnies, including a rabbit agility competition, a veterinary talk, human-rabbit interactive booth games, charity sales and markets, a petting session, charity photo booths and workshops. Everyone is welcome to join us at Hopewell Centre during these two weeks in April to celebrate the joyous Easter holiday with these adorable little animals!

April 12, 13 - Meow Cat Carnival

The 'Meow Cat Carnival', held on April 12 and 13, will offer a variety of exciting activities for cat owners and their furry friends at the Hopewell Centre's 3/F Atrium. Registered veterinarians and nutrition experts will kick off the event with a talk on 'Understanding Kitten Growth and Nutritional Needs' to provide essential knowledge for owners of young cats, ensuring their healthy and happy growth. A series of 'Cat Breed Parades' will also be held on the same day, featuring super cat models showcasing their beauty and grace. Experts will explain the unique physical traits and health considerations of different cat breeds to help new cat owners prepare for their furry companions.

Cat owners are welcome to sign up for the 'Cat Obstacle Course' with their energetic cats to train them to navigate through various obstacles! For those who wish to understand the minds of their feline friends, 'Cat Tarot Readings' hosted by 'Spiritual HK' will connect owners with their cats' thoughts through tarot readings and help create a comfortable living environment for their beloved pets. Moreover, the 'CFA Champion Cat Show', organized by the 'Cat Fanciers' Association', will showcase a lineup of champion cats, including the American CFA 2023-2024 Household Pet International Division World Champion from Hong Kong, 'Lucky', who will charm the audience with their stunning looks and captivating presence.                 

April 18, 19 - Rabbitry Easter Family Bun

Mark your calendars, rabbit lovers! On April 18 and 19 during the Easter holiday, join us at the Hopewell Centre's 3/F Atrium for the 'Easter Family Bun' event hosted by the charity organization 'Rabbitry'. Sign up your energetic bunnies for the 'Rabbit Agility Competition' and let them showcase their skills on the 4-meter race track while navigating through obstacles. Two small animal veterinary specialists from 'Star Pet Animal Hospital', Dr. Nicole Wyre and Dr. Stephen Chan, will offer a free talk on rabbit pathology, followed by a discussion session where they will answer questions regarding rabbit health and care. During the event, members of the public can participate in face painting to raise funds for rabbits awaiting adoption, as well as 'Human-Rabbit Interactive Booth Games' consisting of four games - 'Know Me, Know You', 'Guess the Weight', 'World's Best', and 'Telepathy'. Complete one game to collect a stamp, and gather all four stamps to receive a limited gift! 

Additionally, support 'Rabbitry's' daily operations by purchasing charity sale products or participating in charity workshops and photo booths hosted by 'SKH Tender Care', 'Healing with a Thought', 'Candle Pottery', 'HeyHay Foto', and more. Before adopting, families can interact with the rabbits in the 'Petting Session' area by participating in the 'Be a Little Master' activity, which offers free close-up encounters with the rabbits. The on-site limited market will feature rabbit-themed products, including Hong Kong original hand-drawn designs and rabbit-themed children's clothing, perfect for Easter gifting.

Conan TCG Cup 2025 added to the event, calling all fans to test their wits and strategies

'There's only one truth!' Hopewell Centre calls upon all Detective Conan fans to join the 'Detective Conan TCG Cup 2025' on April 26 and 27, where they can showcase their card strategies and win amazing prizes. A trial experience will also be set up for the public to enjoy the fun of the activity and receive a beautiful Detective Conan card pack upon completion of the tutorial. Popular characters from the story, such as 'Edogawa Conan' and 'Kaitou Kid', will make an appearance with life-size cutouts and the latest card game merchandise for fans to take photos with. The characters' new outfits are designed by the original author, Gosho Aoyama, adding to the excitement for fans!
